To enable easy access to the Evangelical School in Rabieh, LEH took on a project which consisted of the construction of a new 6-meter wide road. The road boasts a steep slope, which was supported by mechanically stabilized earth walls, some of which reached a height of 14 meters. In other sections, precast concrete slabs were used, which were supported by concrete retaining walls of heights up to 9 meters.
To ensure stability in the complex soil conditions, the entire system was founded on a raft on piles structure. Additionally, 17-meter embedded soil anchors were installed to provide further stabilization.
Our team provided a turn-key solution for this complex project, handling all aspects of civil, structural, and electro-mechanical works. Despite the challenges posed by the terrain and soil conditions, we completed the project within a reasonable timeframe and to the highest international standards.
