LEH worked with Collège Central to deliver the extension of the existing building in 2003. Designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing architecture of the old building, this project was brought to life by LEH with exceptional precision and attention to detail.
The project scope included everything from excavation and dewatering to concrete structural works with precast system slabs, and finishing works. The pièce de résistance of the project, the “voile mince” kindergarten school, is a sight to behold and was the main highlight of the project.
The project was completed within a record-breaking time frame of less than a year, ensuring that the new buildings were ready for use during the new school year. The result is a stunning, cohesive structure that pays homage to the building’s rich history while embracing modern design and functionality.
